The Challenge

Development of a new packaging design that attracts the “Generation Social Media” to one of the great classics of pens: The Pen 68 from Stabilo.

At the start of the project the task was defined as to design a packaging for a limited edition.

The Solution

Clear black contrasts in combination with white or striking colors and a polarizing, modern and strikingly designed visual world are familiar and popular design elements for the target group.

The black pens as a classy as well as a hip object of desire show themselves in action and strengthen the desired contrast.

Street art, graffiti and comic elements as well as contemporarily compiled text elements trigger the desired message additionally and underline the desired attitude.

The new packaging offers a reason to believe that works and ultimately is being been carried over to other packaging types of Stabilo.
