GLBA Istanbul Office – Orhan Irmak Tasarim (OIT) will host GLBA semi-annual meeting in the forthcoming days as we announced before. Thus, it is a good time to focus on OIT dynamic identity design.
For their new office, OIT asked GLBA members for their contribution to create a dynamic identity. The main idea was to bring the GLBA spirit visually into the interior design of the new office.
The creative team at Orhan Irmak Tasarim created the 3D version of OIT logo. They asked the other creative teams at the GLBA member offices to decorate the new 3D logo with their own colors, patterns, textures, illustrations or whatever they thing will reflect their region.
The project was welcomed enthusiastically by each GLBA member. Julian Machill representing South Africa commented “The unique fingerprint of the zebra stripes, just as each iconic piece of packaging is tailored to consumer insights” and added that they attempted to capture a sense of African vibrance with colours and graphics.
Another member of GLBA, Tracey from Shangai, chose a very traditional Chineese handicraft “paper-cut” to cover the logo, for wishing OIT luck and fortune.
According to Dr. Orhan Irmak, a living brand requires a dynamic brand essence and identity: “In this co-creation, we aimed at integrating the multicultural spirit of GLBA into our logo and interior design with the contributions of GLBA members. We printed and framed each logo and hanged on the wall facing the stairs of our new office. On each step, you can see OIT logo reflecting a different part of the World and in sum the diversity of GLBA.”
